General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR)

Effective 25-MAY-2018, the GDPR is a set of rules, regulations and guidelines of what the EU Governments expect of companies and business owners who have any interaction with EU citizens. With our privacy policy, we hope to be clear and transparent in an attempt to comply with the GDPR.

Cookies & Local Storage

From the effective date we will no longer use Google Analytics, or other such plugins, which may have stored Cookies or other persistent data in Local Storage in your web browser without your Opt-In approval. If we decide to use any such plugins in the future, ie. Live Chat, we will provide an Opt-In method before such plugins can store data in your browser. Personally Indentifiable Information (PII)

The only PII that we collect is the information submitted by you in our contact forms, and anything that you subsequently provide to us later via email. We do not collect your IP Address in our contact forms, though it is used to identify the country where you are submitting the form from. Before a contact form is sent to us, you are required to accept this Privacy Policy. Our Live Chat service will record PII and make use of cookies / local storage, and we explain that in our Live Chat page.

Data Handling

All website traffic is transmitted securely over https:// (SSL). All email from our servers, and our email clients (such as Gmail), are sent securely using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Any data we store in a database, ie. for our Booking Planners, are stored in restricted access password protected databases. Any questions about data handling, data removal, etc. can be submitted to us via our contact page.
